    The International Network of Parliamentarians on Tibet - building on parliamentary achievements worldwide!

    The 5th World Parliamentarians Convention on Tibet, held in Rome on the 18th and 19th of November 2009, resolved to form a network of parliamentarians for Tibet (INPaT) to facilitate coordination among parliamentarians and parliamentary groups in order to effectively advance Tibet issues in a concerted manner.

    The network shares best practices and supports the international advancement of a long-term action plan on resolving the issue of Tibet.

    INPaT seeks to strenghten this support for Tibet by coordinating international parliamentary efforts and by exchanging best practices and experiences.

    November 8, 2012 : Parliamentarians' Petition on Tibet

    We, the undersigned parliamentarians of democratic countries all over the world being alarmed at the escalating situation of persistent violation of human rights and fundamental freedoms of the Tibetan people, including deep concerns over the drastic action of self-immolations, initially by monks, to demonstrate in defence of their rights.
