Washington, DC—The bipartisan Congressional-Executive Commission on China has released its 2013 Annual Report on human rights and rule of law developments in China, which it is required to do by October 10 of each year.

The INPaT Website, including all information and materials contained on it, is managed by INPaT, the International Network of Parliamentarians on Tibet.

INPaT is committed to ensuring the privacy of all our users. This Privacy Policy governs all pages on the INPaT Website. It does not apply to pages hosted by other organisations, including the websites of INPaT sections or related organisations or third party sites. By using the INPaT Website, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy. INPaT may change the terms of this Privacy Policy from time to time and, if such changes are made, we may place notices on the INPaT Website so that you can be aware of them. Your continued use of the INPaT Website will be on the terms of this Privacy Policy as amended from time to time.

What types of information do we collect and store?

The type and amount of information we receive and store depends on how you use the INPaT Website. You can access most of the pages on the INPaT Website without telling us who you are and without revealing any personal information.  Our web servers collect anonymous logs during user visits to the INPaT Website.  This information is used to create aggregate statistics, for example about when the INPaT Website is accessed, the pages which refer visitors to the INPaT Website, the type of web browsers visitors use and which pages are viewed.  These statistics help us understand how the INPaT Website is used and provide us with valuable information for improving it in the future.

We do not collect personal information (such as your name, address, phone number or e-mail address) on the INPaT Website unless you choose to provide it.  For example, where you express an interest in joining INPaT, subscribe to our email updates, or wish to access certain restricted parts of the INPaT Website.

How do we use information collected?

Your personal information will be retained by INPaT and its service providers in a secure environment, will be kept confidential, and will only be used in connection with the purposes for which it is submitted, or as otherwise explained on the INPaT Website or as necessary for us to comply with our legal obligations. 

Sharing of your personal information

The information you provide will not be sold or rented nor will it be shared with third parties unless we have your permission, or are required to disclose the information by law.

Access to your personal information

You may have rights of access to personal information that we hold about you, to correct that information or, in some circumstances, to object to our processing of your information, under data privacy law.
